When arriving in Shanghai, you will be greeted by our professional tour guide at the Beijing International Airport and then transferred to the hotel. On the way to the hotel, you can see the beautiful buildings of Shanghai proper and experience the local culture.

Today, we shall take the tour bus for Wuxi, and visit Taihu Lake Scenery Zone, Taihu Lake is the third largest freshwater lake in China. And then visit the Pearl Feeding Factory and enjoy the famous Qianlong Banquet. Afterwards, we shall go back to Shanghai and see the “Open House” in the Shikumen Museum. After dinner, we shall take the flight to Mt.Huangshan.

Mt.Huangshan is noted for its statuesque mountains and rich cultural heritage. In 1990 the UNESCO put Mt.Hangshan on its list of "World Natural and Cultural Heritages". The beauty of Mt.Huangshan lies in its "four wonders": pine trees with shapely foliage, rocks in a hundred and one images, an ocean of clouds, and hot springs. Going up the mountain by cable-car, see Xihai & Beihai beauty spot, including Shi Xin Peak, Lion Peak, Bright Peak and Pai Yun Pavilion.

Enjoy an overwhelming view of sunrise before breakfast, then you will go down the hill and visit the local store. We shall head for Hong Village of Yixian County, evolved in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is located in a beautiful surrounding, with green hills around and clear streams winding through. The village has a great fame for her water-supplying system. The bird's view of village's shape is like a resting water-buffalo.

Today, we shall visit Old Street with Song Dynasty style. And then, head for Hangzhou and visit Feilaifeng Park in the Lingyin Temple or "Soul's Retreat Temple", which is one of the best-known Buddhist monasteries in China, built in 326 AD at the foot of Lingyin Mountain in Hangzhou. At dinner, we shall enjoy the local Benbang flavor.

After breakfast, we shall go to the bank of the West Lake and see how the local residents do the morning exercise, like Shadow-boxing and dancing. And then take the cable car to visit the West Lake, "Rippling waters shimmering on a sunny day, Misty mountains shrouded in rain; Plain or gaily dressed like Xizi; West Lake is always alluring." which describes Hangzhou’s West Lake. Afterwards, we shall visit the local Tea Factory and taste the tea. After lunch, we shall go to Suzhou. On the way to Suzhou, we shall pay a visit to the Watertown Wuzhen and then visit Shantang River in Suzhou.

In the morning we shall visit the Tiger Hill and the famous Liu Garden. Then we shall pay a visit to The Silk Research Institute Shopping Center of Jiangsu. After lunch, we shall go back to Shanghai and the Bund and go shopping along Nanjing Road, Putong New Zone, Putong Binjiang Road. Today’s dinner is excluded. You can go to the local restaurants by yourself and enjoy the nice food.

After breakfast, we shall visit the Chenghuang Temple and the hand-made craftwork centre. Then, we shall have a taste of the famous and delicious Xiaolongbao (Small Steamed Dumplings) at lunch. After lunch, we shall transfer to the airport, ending the wonderful 9 days China tour.
